Puzzle Time

The most complicated activity that I feel so far is to think of an activity for your kids and especially when they are at home during their annual holidays. As your child grows so does their experience. By now they are dealing freely with rotation and joining pieces. However, they still often use trial and error. Fitting the pieces incorrectly and purposely is a sign you can move on to greater number of pieces and more complex design.

For 4-year-olds, toddlers should be working with 20-40 pieces. I have suggested to my daughter to look into a series collection, which offers levels that coordinate with situations. Whole figures are framed by the outline with different complexities and puzzle pieces differ in size. Both of which make-up and decide the level of difficulty. It is important to introducing the levels of difficulty in puzzles for 4-year-olds so that it keeps the activity appealing and satisfying.

An internet study shows and concludes that an average time for a 4-year-old to fix a 40 – 50 pieces puzzle is 2 – 3.5 minutes. I tried to evaluate how my child average out

Puzzle Time

Not Bad she tried to frame both the below puzzles to an average of 2.62 minutes“. Well done my dear girl way more to go. 🙂 L).
